Preparation of firewall rulesets based upon input from Application owners. Definition of needed AD groups and assignment of users.
Define processes with application Management to maintain User Access Groups.
Define and analyze Firewall Ruleset to support logical WAN / LAN location separation in the carve out projects.
Analyze and Implement user-based firewalling by using Checkpoint Identity Awareness.
Work with firewall management tools for documentation and optimization of rule base. Coordinate Firewall Changes policies and routing to support migrations.
Trouble shoot Firewall Connectivity.
Perform reporting of firewall performance data and log analyzation.
Support troubleshooting of Identity Awareness Infrastructure.
Operate firewall policy management infrastructure.

You're excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

High level knowledge of Active Directory.
TCP/IP Networking (Ports and Protocols).
Fast understanding of Application and the necessary communications.
Check Point R81.20.
Azure based firewalls.
Check Point Identity Awareness.
Tufin for policy management.
Linux Server RHEL 8 operations.
Elasticsearch/Splunk.
Zscaler private access.
