Key Responsibilities1. Merchandising Strategy & Assortment Planning:- Define and execute seasonal merchandising strategies aligned with brand vision and consumer demand.- Partner with design and production to create compelling product assortments.- Track product performance, sell through, and margins to refine SKU mix and pricing.- Conduct competitive benchmarking and trend analysis to guide merchandising decisions.2. Production Alignment & Inventory Flow:- Synchronize production schedules with retail demand forecasts.- Oversee inventory planning, replenishment, and markdown strategies.- Manage vendor relationships and ensure on time deliveries.- Implement systems and dashboards for accurate demand forecasting.3. Store Sales & Retail Operations:- Monitor store performance through KPIs (sales per sq. ft., ASP, conversion, sell through).- Provide insights and action plans to boost store productivity.- Ensure brand consistency across visual merchandising, customer experience, and product displays.- Support training of store teams on product knowledge and selling techniques.4. Retail Expansion & New Store Openings:- Identify, evaluate, and propose new store locations in luxury markets.- Develop feasibility reports, P&L projections, and expansion roadmaps.- Lead end to end store launch: site selection, design coordination, assortment planning, and staffing.- Explore opportunities with multibrand luxury retailers and strategic retail partners.5. Cross Functional Collaboration:- Work closely with design, marketing, and finance for synchronized product launches.- Align merchandising with campaigns, events, and retail activations.- Present performance updates and expansion strategies to senior leadership.
