- Proficient in Microsoft BI tool stack (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS) and SQL server programming
- Responsible for handling production tier three support tickets and providing resolutions within defined service level agreements.
- Develop and execute reports, Bug fixes, optimizations and enhancement, document processes and generate required metadata.
- Perform root cause analysis on production issues, using data to diagnose bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure services would be an added advantage.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of data.
- Experience in Fabric components, including Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Pipelines, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI Integration, and Semantic Models would be an added advantage.
- Review and implement best practices within the team to maximize system potential.
- Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, and other analytics platforms.
- Contributes throughout project life cycles, from planning to production implementation, including the creation of functional designs, technical designs and test plans for repository models and hierarchies.
- Should know how to write advance SQL, use SQL aggregate and analytic functions.
- Must have skill sets in writing complex SQL programs and proficiency in tuning the code.
- Work with Business users to understand reporting requirements and provide optimal solutions.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customers.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment.
- Support strategic decision-making through comprehensive data analysis and recommendations.
- Microsoft certifications in data-related fields are preferred.
- 7-12 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing data solutions using Microsoft BI tools and SQL Server programming.
- Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of resolving complex data challenges.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with data modeling, complex queries, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Data Lake Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling principles.
- Familiarity with standard processes in data governance, lineage, security, and privacy.
- Expertise in SSDT tools (SSIS, SSRS) and SQL Server in enterprise environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on project requirements.
- Ability to deliver complex business solutions with minimal supervision.
- Working experience on SNOW and Agile Process is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field)
- Good interpersonal skills using English, both spoken and written, as will be working with overseas team.
