Are you ready to help us improve and save lives throughout the world by making the invisible visible together with us We are looking for a Senior Buyer for X-ray technology/components based in Vizag on the southeastern coast of India as part of our manufacturing setup in India. This position will collaborate with the team in the Salt Lake City. Your Role Establish and maintain systems for material purchases in manufacturing, including direct and indirect procurement Set up the supply base for sourcing materials from both new and existing suppliers Analyze materials for year-over-year productivity opportunities and identify low-cost suppliers Drive the completion of the supplier qualification process and conduct ongoing risk assessments of strategic vendors Create, implement, and negotiate procurement strategies for new and existing products, including LTA negotiations and strategic partnerships Take responsibility for decision-making with a significant impact on company financials, cash flow, and risk mitigation plans Manage RFQ processes, new orders, confirmations, delivery, tracking, and supplier transition projects Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities, drive global spend, and leverage key suppliers Excel in communication, conveying information effectively to drive actions Demonstrate proficiency in developing and using complex Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, translating forecasting information into material requirements Showcase initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to lead, mentor, or guide a small team Possess expertise and knowledge in Printed Circuit Board Assemblies and commodities such as Electronic components, Mechanical assemblies, and Cables Your Profile Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, engineering, or supply chain management certification. Expertise in Supplier Management, and Scorecard practices Extensive experience in domestic and international sourcing, and a strong understanding of Strategic Sourcing Methodology Effective collaborator, meeting both internal and external customer requirements. Ability to travel 10 %, including internationally Understanding of duty, tariffs, free trade agreements, and materials availability with markets.
