1 Calculate optical geometries of headlamp / Signal Lamp components for series development and series-related predevelopment, using common lighting technology and related simulation technology.
2 Evaluate and submit the results to Design and / or other internal and external departments and derive possible design-related measures.
3 Involvement in the new or advanced development of reflector technologies in cooperation with those responsible.
4 Assist with the development and evaluation of software programs for lighting technology related calculations in collaboration with internal and external departments; test and evaluate new programs in consultation with internal departments
5 Advising the concerned departments for the issues with regard to the use of optical components, as well as the design of free-form areas for headlamps / Signal Lamps.
6 Arranging and / or involvement in the preparation of light samples, photometric components and prototypes in agreement with the superior and the relevant departments.
7 Assist in the development of new light sources in consultation with the responsible departments and in collaboration with suppliersB Planning, measuring, analysing
1 Accept or put together the headlamp / Signal lamp components required, including the necessary documents; check the components and prepare them for inspection
2 Set up complex experiment designs, possibly adapting existing experiment and test facilities
3 Carry out or arrange extensive photometric investigations, following selection of the suitable methods and processes; record, check and present the results
4 Carry out studies on temperature behaviour of equipment for the testing and experimenting laboratory
5 Analyse and interpret the results based on the required values. Possibly identify causes of faults and propose possible solutions in collaboration with departments involved
6 Analyse and qualify optical materials and surfaces using self-developed test methods and proceduresC Other Tasks
1 Supporting Series Production in questions of light measuring technology
2 Monitoring QCD Parameters in accordance with Quality system of the company
3 Updating minutes action plan for completed tasks.
4 Maintaining project time entry on daily basis.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc/M.Sc (Physics / Optics) /B. E / B. Tech with 2 to 3 Years of relevant experiences
- Good Knowledge / Skill in Product development lighting technology, CAD/CAM and Measuring and testing technology
- Good in English -Verbal / Written
