Working seamlessly with business line home offices, project sites, customer organizations and suppliers, our teams have delivered more than 125 projects since our inception in 1994.Our offices in Gurgaon, Vadodara and Chennai will grow significantly and sustainably with exciting career opportunities for both professionals and young graduates who are passionate about creating a cleaner, greener, and safer world; building transformational infrastructure; making decarbonization a reality; and protecting people and the environment.Project Overview:Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of their existing petrochemical facilities in India. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices.Role Overview:Participates with designated project implementation teams and personnel to determine and develop project automation requirements and objectives. This includes providing advice, guidance and recommendations. Completion of Digital Supply Chain System Project Setup (Project Initiatives, Approvals workflows, Shipping and Inventory Destinations etc.). Create project members Digital Supply Chain System access. Organizes and performs classroom training as well as user desk instruction, including the maintenance and distribution of user training materials and documentation related to the Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) application suite and associated systems. Participates in software demonstrations and presentations as required by the Global Business Unit or Project. Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves problems relating to hardware, software or network related error. Perform data quality checks and import as directed by Project. Initiates requests for resolution of both hardware and software problems encountered during implementation and operations of the Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) application suite and associated systems.Job Dimensions:A. - Reports to and receives operational and functional supervision and direction from the Project Supply Chain Manager.
- Receives functional guidance from the Energy DSCS Implementation Manager.
- Assigns, coordinates, monitors work and provides training to DSCS Specialist.
- Coordinates support and technical issues with the Supply Chain Systems Manager, and where necessary with the Corporate Supply Chains Systems group.
- Maintains contact with non-Bechtel 3rd party software / application vendors or sponsors as dictated by project requirements.
- Participates with designated project implementation teams and personnel to determine and develop project automation requirements and objectives.
- May participate in the formulation of new work proposals, including the provision of detailed written scenarios, software demonstrations and oral presentations.
- Configures Supply Chain Systems software components, performs testing and provides ongoing technical support.
- Initiates requests for resolution of software application issues encountered during implementation and operations of Supply Chain Systems applications.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent, in Supply Chain, Computing Science or business systems related fields is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years experience in supporting supply chain automation systems and has been assigned to a supply chain role such as purchasing, expediting, logistics, materials management or field procurement operations for additional 6 years.
- Advanced knowledge of standard office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Power BI, Excel and Access, and including simple table, query, report and macro design.
- Experience using reporting tools such as PowerBI, SSRS, Power Query etc.
- Experience with software installation procedures and networked infrastructure concepts.
- Experience in personnel administration, having conducted annual reviews,staffing selections,salary planning and career counseling.
- Knowledge of and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite of Applications, Oracle Agile and Oracle Primavera Unifier.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes, including knowledge of common Engineering, Project Controls, Finance and Construction work methods that depend upon Supply Chain System information.
- Experience in major global, direct hire and contract management projects, which include engineering, procurement, and materials management activities.
