Job Description Supervision of sample collection and preparation activities Analysis of all the samples collected by lab attendants and the samples received from production, sales, boiler house, mines and raw material cell (caustic, Lime, Furnace oil, Acids) Standard production, Special products, sales, PPC & quality cell. Analysis of all PP-bag samples as & when required. Entering the analytical results and filing of all analytical data sheets. Sending the samples to H.I.C.A. for XRF, XRD, Dionex and D.S.C. analyses as per Schedule. Generating internal standard samples for instruments like Sedigraph, NOVA & Malvern to check the instrument's performance. Maintenance of all equipment & instruments in co-ordination with the concerned departments. To calibrate the instruments/glass apparatus under the guidance of laboratory Co-Ordinator. Preservation of daily, weekly, monthly Raw Material samples. Ensure monitoring & analysis of ambient air quality, stack dust monitoring, Drinking water quality, Effluent water as per KSPCB guideline & maintain record. Ensure monitoring & analysis of work place dust quality, as per department plan & maintain record. Trial & Testing based on Standard Plant requirement in coordination with Process Department. Collaborating with Hindalco Innovation Centre for conducting various Tests Candidate with MSC in Chemistry having experience in manufacturing industry are preferred.
