- Bachelors in engineering, Supply Chain, or other applicable business degrees with minimum 7 CGPA
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Contract Lead/Contract Manager.
- Contract development, Contract maintenance and Negotiations experience.
- Contracting experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and / or EPC Industry
- Knowledge of the India & international EPC market, contracts (reimbursable and lump-sum), and supply chain
- Understanding of Engineering Services/EPC Category Agreement templates/compensation methodologies
- Leadership skills
- Procurement / commercial functional expertise
- Possesses strong negotiation skills. Ability to handle conflict and resolve complex commercial exceptions with bidder's legal and management representatives in a timely manner
- Proficient in developing Contracts (EPC, FEED, Others) with Lump Sum, Reimbursable and Unit Rate compensation structures while ensuring transactional efficiency of agreements (enterprise resource planning friendly agreements)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to share appropriate messages to various levels of leadership as well as external parties
- Strong understanding of contracting and capital project risk management expectations and common business control requirements. Contract development must be in compliance with ExxonMobil process and controls requirements.
- Outstanding initiative, drive and resilience in
- day-to-day-activities to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of total system cost concept.
- Knowledge of purchase to pay process including enterprise resource planning systems (SAP)
- Commercial – contract development, negotiation and influence, bid development and evaluation, supplier relationship management, contracting strategy development.
- Behavioral – drive, resilience, communication skills, ability to integrate easily.
