*Incidents related to the DC environment such as air conditioning and utilities such as power are raised to the*Building Management and Support (BMS) team for resolution but is tracked to closure by the DC Hardware team.
*Hands on experience with Vcenter and Vmware. (Mandatory)
*Monitoring the Access control systems and informing NSE of any deviations.
*Executing environmental checklist and highlight any breaches to NSE Management
*Performing Data Center network/server maintenance and management.
*Optimizing design and managing floor/rack space efficiency.
*Coordinating with the premises team for facility management –power, space, cooling requirements provisioning, monitoring & maintenance, etc.
*Coordinate & Support Premises team for Preventive Maintenance of DC facility equipment
*Call logging/coordinating with OEM/L3 for support/issue resolution andRUN operations with respect to data center equipment.
*Collecting data and preparing reports for regulatory, internal and other ad-hoc reporting and activities such as audits, etc.
*Preliminary monitoring of third party assets in the data center.
*Creating/maintaining documentation on know-how for all activities andperiodically reviewing for currency and obtaining approvals wherever required.
*Overseeing activities related to data center maintenance/expansion/movement, etc.
*Manage & Perform RUN operations for IT infrastructure in DCs viz. servers, storage, etc. by means of monitoring
Coordinating for break-fix support
*IT Infrastructure installation support – rack stack, network patching, power cable connection
Rack space and rack wise power utilization monitoring
*Reporting on physical and environmental conditions controls
*Reporting on monthly health checks of all systems and modules installed
*Responsible for the complete Infra life cycle including installation, implementation,ITAM updation, coordination with different infra teams, ongoing maintenance support & disposal
*Responsible for SLA adherence by the OEMs as agreed by them and monthly SLA adherence report
Complete DC inventory , rack elevation, store inventory , coordination with premise, security & admin teams
Cable management within the racks, coordination with cabling vendor
*Daily checklist minimum twice a day with monitoring ofDC parameters viz temperature, humidity etc.*Maintenace of all DC parameters within thresholds Ensuring DC cleanliness
*Infrastructure spare part management, (facilitating material IN/OUT)
*Facilitating NSE in DC migration, server shifting across locations
*Managing and maintaining infra in MSE, BSE DC, DR, STT NDR Mumbai (Partner Data Centre)
*Coordinating with NTT team for CKYC setup at DC & DR
