Job Designation: Purchase Executive, Job Location: Chandkheda, Ahmedabad· Holds end to end accountability for coordination of project/service needs with procurement from purchase phase to execution.· Align procurement plan and manages communication with project, operation & maintenance team for their specific technical needs.· Manages the overall timeline regarding manufacturing, delivery, installation & commissioning of all elements of the scope for the project/service.· Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking.· Evaluate existing suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.· Building relationships with new suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales.· Receive and check supplier invoice, tag to proper project & complete tracking to be followed until material reaches at place asked by project & service team.· Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports of the department to analyze performance and make improvements.· Arranging transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.· Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders· Attend meetings and update other colleagues on issues or concerns to share best practice and define processes.· Willing to Travel for Vendor Visits/ Inspection.Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Instrumental is preferred or B.com is minimum qualification.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement and purchasing activities.
Experience in the Engineering industry, preferably in the field of Water & Wastewater Engineering.
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to deal with ambiguity associated with a high-growth environment.
