Manager - Business Planning & Analytics

• Preparing budget for various channel and deploy the same to functional heads within agreed timelines
• Decision Support, business case analysis, cost benefit analysis
• Timely and accurate reporting to different stakeholders’ e.g. Shareholders, Functional heads etc.
• Profitability analysis along with key business drivers
• Competition Analysis

• Business Planning and Business Decision Support
• Assist in preparing the annual / rolling business plan / forecasts along with detailed assumption build-up
• Support business managers in strategic decision making through decision support system, Cause-and-effect analysis, Business Case Analysis
• Pro-active budgetary control; Budget v/s actual variance analysis for all functions, reporting of the same to the function heads and establishing a mechanism to control the variances
• Benchmark cost metrics with competitors to monitor trends and evaluate cost structure

• Quality of support provided to business managers on the basis of their feedback
• Minimum reporting errors
• Designing & optimizing financial processes, controls and efficiency measures
• Unhindered support to Planning activity

• Proficiency on working in MS – Office (High on Excel, Word & Power Point)
• Proficiency on working on Oracle financials/ ERP/Oracle Business Intelligence
• High on analytical skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills
• Proactive with ability to speedily understand business and its information needs
• Strong business acumen and commercial skills
• Ability to multitask

• Chartered Accountant
• Preferably 3-4 years of work experience, At least two year of related experience in a service organization, preferably an insurance company
