- An excellent grasp of aseptic technique to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment within the operating theater.
- Proficiency in patient positioning for surgeries to ensure patient safety as well as surgical efficacy for different types of procedures.
- Ability to manage the sterile field consistently to maintain infection control standards and support surgical team requirements.
- Skillful in equipment sterilization techniques to prepare surgical instruments and equipment as per protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various surgical procedures to effectively anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records for accurate documentation and management of patient data.
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies while maintaining a sterile environment.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are prepared, sterilized, and available for use before and during surgical procedures.
