Introduction Working with Change & Technology Project Managers, Solutions Architect, and Enterprise Architects to understand data processing application needs. Produce Design Documentation and approach for successful program delivery for Open Source Hadoop & AWS process. Responsible for Open Source Hadoop & AWS platform engineering & builds Implement Data integration and Data Warehouse based solutions using Apache Hadoop & AWS features. Translate business requirements & E2E designs into technical implementations based on system capabilities. Create solution for data and process migration from Cloudera to OS Hadoop & on-premises to AWS without business impact. Ensure consistency in approach, design, and output to deliver quality and concise design solution documentation. Lead best practice methodology for solution delivery Define, promote re-usable, extendible, scalable, maintainable solution considering trade-off for cost vs benefit Communicate at all levels in a clear and credible way about the importance of solution design. Lead platform engineers in the team and foster a shared vision for design. Knowledgeable and skilled at the practice of data driven design solutions. What will you be doing Responsible for ratifying technology solutions, producing concise Design documents, including Source to Target mappings, data manipulation / processing logic, contribute to stage 0 (+-30%) estimates, to meet solution requirements, in line with team and group Strategies and Architectures. Adding clarity to business requirements, challenges business requirements and demands to ensure high quality candidate solutions are created. Responsible for ensuring that the build outcomes delivered by our teams are consistent with produced designs meeting requested solution. Support the development of design strategies for the supported technical areas. Provide ad-hoc consultancy as required to the business on technical matters. What We're Looking For Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant field Experience on Hadoop & AWS Cloud technology for data processing Good understanding of Hadoop & AWS architecture and features Platform delivery for data processing components in larger End to End projects Stakeholder management including persons at working at higher grade Skills That Will Help You In The Role Hadoop & AWS Certified professional Ability to drive the projects technically with right first deliveries within schedule and budget Ability to collaborate across teams to deliver complex systems and components and manage stakeholder's expectations well Broad and solid understanding of the concepts and roles behind Hadoop application build delivery and design Understands different project methodologies, project lifecycles, major phases, dependencies and milestones within a project, and the required documentation needs. Experienced with planning, estimating, organising, and working on multiple projects.
