This role focuses on the ownership of the On-Premises Infrastructure financial allocation process, supporting EY Technology within EY. It will be responsible for key activities, including owning gathering and transforming consumption data, management of Cost Transparency model in Apptio, reporting, planning, and forecasting.
This is a key role to support the Associate Director and above in EY Technology Finance and is a strategic business partner to the group. This role is expected to support the Associate Director, EY Technology Finance in providing financial direction on IT globalization efforts while driving Cost Transparency of technology billing to the Member Firms and Technology leadership. This role will be global in nature.

Your client responsibilities:

Technical Acumen - Familiarity with Technology infrastructure products and the relationship among product offerings (e.g. Servers, Storage, Backup, Database). Resource does not need to be a technologist for success in this space.
Data Transformation - ability to combine large sets of consumption data in a variety of formats, transforming the data into a consistent and usable format.
Financial Acumen - strong understanding of financials statements and engagement economics needed for managing allocations and subsequent billing processes.
Ability to partner and present across audiences of different backgrounds - finance, infrastructure, product teams, and business management.
Leadership - responsible for all aspects of allocations process in addition to managing the model in Apptio Cost Transparency - including planning & forecasting, reporting, and ad-hoc support.
Continuous improvement - partner with technology product managers and leadership to continue evolving the consumption data and billable cost pools.

Technical skills requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA or CPA (or equivalent) desirable
Expert level in Excel and skills in creating PowerBI reports needed.
Experience in SAP desirable
Experience in working in a globally deployed accounting organization.
At least 5+ years of experience in finance processes and policies
Experience in managing a similar consolidation function - with a strong preference for previous experience in a technology environment.
