We are looking for a Senior Technology Engineer – Oracle Database to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation. This role requires hands-on experience in managing complex database environments, ensuring high availability, and driving best practices for scalability and security.RequirementsKey Responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases (versions 11g/12c/19c).
Perform database upgrades, migrations, backup, recovery, and patch management.
Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries, indexes, and overall database health.
Implement and maintain high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate).
Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity in accordance with organizational policies.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database usage.
Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or other tools.
Provide on-call support and troubleshoot critical production issues.
Document database processes, standards, and guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

7-10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and GoldenGate.
Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
Experience with database security, auditing, and compliance best practices.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell, Python, or Perl).
Exposure to cloud database services (AWS RDS/Oracle Cloud/Azure DB) is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Oracle certifications (OCP, OCM) preferred.
