a) Production Planning & Supply Scheduling:
- Develop medium-to-long term production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory norms, Transit time, and manufacturing capacities.
- Create monthly rolling production schedules in alignment with monthly sales forecasts, Tender visibility, In transit stock and API/RM/PM availability.
- Coordinate with manufacturing plants, API team, and procurement teams for timely execution of production plans.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels (RM, PM, FG) to avoid stock-outs and obsolescence.
- Monitor and manage capacity constraints; escalate risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Optimize inventory holdings in consultation with finance and commercial teams, while ensuring availability of Finished Goods.
- Collaborate with demand planning and commercial teams to align supply plans with market requirements.
- Support S&OP processes by providing supply scenarios and constraints where ever applicable.
- Act as a bridge between production, QA/QC, regulatory, procurement, API Planning, Logistics and commercial teams.
- Ensure timely readiness of materials, artwork, and regulatory approvals for production.
- Identify supply risks, delays, or constraints and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Track and manage inventory shelf-life risks, batch expiry management, and re-testing needs.
- Ensure timely updates and accuracy of master data in ERP/SAP systems (BOM, lead times, MOQ, batch sizes etc).
- Adhere to cGMP, GDP, and other regulatory compliance norms in supply planning activities.
- Generate periodic reports on supply KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turnover etc
- Analyze supply chain performance and recommend process improvements.
