The FICO Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end Finance solutions in SAP (ECC & S/4HANA), ensuring alignment with global finance strategy, compliance requirements, global process standards, and scalable delivery models.This role will act as a Design Authority for Finance, owning global templates, architectural decisions, and solution governance across Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Accounting, Controlling, and integration with upstream and downstream processes.Primary Responsibilities

Define end-to-end SAP Finance architecture across R2R, FI, CO, and Financial Close.

Lead global template design and governance for SAP S/4HANA Finance.

Act as trusted advisor to Finance leadership, Controllers, and FP&A teams.

Govern large-scale S/4HANA Finance transformations and rollouts.

Embed audit, compliance, and internal control requirements into solution designs.

Drive innovation through S/4HANA Finance capabilities such as Universal Journal and Embedded Analytics.

Experience

12–15 years of IT and business process experience with deep SAP FICO expertise.

8+ years of hands-on SAP FICO solution architecture experience in ECC and S/4HANA.

Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO, COPA, and period-end close.

Experience with global rollouts, compliance, and finance process standardization.

EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.Characteristics
