Electrical Designer and Engineer

• Contribute to the planning of work programmes to maximise overall efficiency; and to assist the team as required to carry out the planned work schedule.
• Team performance to be measured and improved.
• Develop self and team in line with set criteria and standards.
• Responsible for design, preparation of specifications, bill of materials and cost estimation, equipment selection, preparation of layouts, single line diagrams, block schematic & logic diagrams and detailing of electrical systems.
• Should be able to prepare engineering calculations Electrical system study and equipment sizing.
• Preparing project cost estimation, single line diagrams, hazardous area classifications, protection & control schematic diagrams, power/ lighting/ grounding/ cabling layouts and fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of international standards.
• Able to handle modeling activities.
• Load list and load flow analysis.

• You have at least 3 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Utilities.
• You are a good multi-tasker who can work within tight deadlines.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can articulate your ideas to different stakeholders.
• You have working knowledge of e3d, pdms, etap and dialux
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
