Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or a related field.
4 years of experience in data analysis including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
4 years of experience with delivering analysis projects and working on open-ended problems.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in Technology, Product Policy, Trust and Safety or a related field.
Experience in policy or program management, user and merchant experience, business strategy, or a related field.
Experience with data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python), problem solving, scaled operations, and execution.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate policy concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills with attention to detail in a changing environment.

A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders across Geo Engineering, Product and Operation teams globally to solve open ended, abuse problems for Maps.
Leverage Large Language Model (LLM) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies to build solutions for solving abuse problems.
Initiate and lead abuse and harm-fighting and mitigation projects.
Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) analysis, develop monitoring and error resolution to create processes.
Support data-oriented decision-making based on analysis, insight and keeping user trust at the forefront.
