We are currently looking for an AI Chatbot Developer (WatsonX, Discovery & Orchestration) in India.This role offers the chance to design and deliver enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions using WatsonX, Discovery, and orchestration frameworks. You will play a key role in creating intelligent chatbots that integrate with complex enterprise systems, driving automation and improving customer experiences. The position involves hands-on development, system integration, and optimization, while staying at the forefront of AI innovation. Working in a collaborative, global environment, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in advanced NLP/NLU, build scalable automation workflows, and contribute to high-impact projects that modernize business operations.Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy chatbots using WatsonX Assistant, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.
  • Build Watson Discovery solutions for intelligent search, retrieval, and contextual insights.
  • Implement orchestration flows to manage multi-system enterprise use cases.
  • Integrate chatbots with ERP, CRM, HRMS, ITSM, and other platforms through APIs and middleware.
  • Develop conversation flows, intents, entities, slots, and strategies to enhance user engagement.
  • Fine-tune NLP/NLU models to improve chatbot accuracy and contextual responses.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Optimize chatbot performance, conduct testing, and provide ongoing support post-deployment.
  • Stay current with WatsonX advancements and apply best practices to enterprise AI adoption.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AI chatbot development, preferably within the IBM Watson/WatsonX ecosystem.
  • Proven expertise in WatsonX Assistant design, skill creation, and enterprise integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Watson Discovery for document search and intelligent Q&A.
  • Knowledge of orchestration frameworks for workflow automation and system interoperability.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, or Java for chatbot development and integration.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and XML for enterprise-level integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Problem-solving mindset with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IBM Watson or WatsonX certifications.
  • Experience integrating chatbots with platforms such as Slack, MS Teams, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or SAP.
  • Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning and WatsonX.ai for conversational AI.
  • Exposure to RPA/automation tools for end-to-end orchestration.
