  • Design, architect, and develop Android-based solutions from concept to deployment for in-vehicle connectivity systems
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Vehicle System Leads, and other stakeholders to align on product strategy and execution
  • Write and manage product requirements using tools such as DOORS or JIRA; derive epics and user stories for Agile teams
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and responsiveness of Android applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, delivering timely resolutions
  • Contribute to middleware development including services, AIDL, content providers, car network/service layers, and broadcast receivers
  • Work closely with suppliers and partners to integrate solutions and drive technical alignment
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in software development within the automotive domain
  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on coding and debugging experience in Android and C/C++
  • Proficient in Android Automotive, Kotlin, Java, and C/C++
  • Strong understanding of Android middleware development
  • Hands-on experience with cloud messaging APIs and protocols like MQTT, HTTP
  • Experience working with Agile Scrum methodologies and Atlassian toolchains (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration across internal teams and external partners

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
  • Experience in Automotive Security or connected vehicle security standards
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development methodologies
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Git and modern version control practices
  • Exposure to infotainment or telematics solutions within the automotive industry
