Ostomy within a defined geographic area. You will foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information to optimize business strategies and drive overall sales within the territory. The ideal candidate will be disciplined and have experience in conducting product demonstrations. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel and be able to generate new sales leads regularly. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field. Responsibilities Promote and sell a portfolio of Convatec products and understand the competitive landscape to achieve sales results, quotas/targets, and profitability goals Develop new target accounts, establish new business, and increase sales of current accounts Establish and maintain relationships with clients Educate clients and attend trade shows to conduct product demonstrations Generate potential leads for future sales Set and exceed quotas Track and report sales in an organized manner Communicate effectively with other members of the team Meets personal sales targets as established, incorporating the full range of products/services within identified markets or geography Develops strong client relationships over time that provide significant input to planning organization product, price, and service strategies Coordinates use of other organization resources to provide value-added services to accounts such as In-service education programs. Efficient Key Account Management and channel partner management Participates in special projects as allocated and contributes to major promotions, new product launches, and new marketing initiatives Organize technical and educational meetings for customers and patients periodically Build an educational calendar to support healthcare professionals, distributors partners; and/or patients Supports supervisor and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or market Accompanies junior sales professionals on calls where appropriate, and contributes to training of less experienced sales representatives. Provides technical advice to the sales group as needed.
