Job Description:Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.3+ years relevant experience in a software development environmentKnowledge of cloud solutions & toolsFamiliarity with virtualization solutions, KVM, QEMU and libvirtMust have in-depth knowledge of Operating Systems concepts, Linux userspace rpms build,testing and automation Proficiency in Linux :Linux Kernel & kernel subsystems basicsLinux Usersapce packages/rpms & tools familiaritySystem booting & crash verificationOS Automation and Integration: c,scripting with shell, Python,PERLExperience working with an agile methodology & toolsExperience working with CI/CD, jenkins, jira,confluence , container technologiesExcellent architectural skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiencesSelf-starter with a quick learning style and ability to work independentlyCandidate must be comfortable in a virtual/global team environmentSelf motivated with the can-do attitude. Proven track record to deliver quality solution in a fast paced environment & timely delivery of the projectCareer Level - IC3Responsibilities:Primary Role/Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible to research new features for Linux Usersapce packages/rpms, develop test plans, test and automate testcases and Develop regression suites as well for userspace.
- Debug/solve issues in this env to help isolate the issue
- Work with developers/upstream to fix any rpm build and functional related issues
- Automate the testing and triaging for the same
