Participate in initial investment discussions and ensure the firm’s internal pipeline system is updated accordinglyCompile and enhance daily reporting for asset performance and trading profit and lossPerform daily cash and position reconciliation functions for liquid assetsReview and respond to PB/ISDA Counterparty margin calls each dayCoordinate with the firm’s global custodians, dealers, and prime brokers to resolve commission differences, trade discrepancies and failsOnboard new sales and trading coverage for the firm’s corporate securities teamSet up new accounts and entities with the firm’s fund administratorWork closely with the firm’s Operations team to monitor cash inflows and outflows from existing investmentsUpdate treasury models for management reviewSupport secondary market bank debt trading, closing, and settlementMaintain up to date legal and ownership documentation for the firmAssist with internal data integrity analysisComplete ad hoc projects as neededRequirementsThe individual will have demonstrated an ability to work in fast-paced, performance-driven environment with an ability to think broadly about the business, incorporating continual improvement of processes and procedures with a goal of excellence while focusing on accuracy and efficiency.Bachelor’s degree from a top university, ideally in a quantitative area (e.g., finance, economics, accounting)2- 5 years of direct experience at a securities or investment firmExcellent Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus) skillsExperience with credit default swaps, swaptions and other financial derivatives a plusExperience with risk, settlements, or trading assistant functionsExperience interacting with Prime Brokers, Custodians, and OTC Counterparties a plusExperience working with large data sets; an understanding of data hierarchyThe highest level of personal integrity and ethical standardsA positive attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to work collaboratively across the organizationAbility to communicate at a high levelStrong attention to detail
