We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer - Hardware Design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and delivering industrial automation projects, with a strong focus on control systems and electrical hardware design. This role requires solid technical expertise, hands-on design experience, and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver reliable and efficient engineering solutions.Experience and Skill Set Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering & Electrical Panel Design- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Control Engineering- Mandatory hands-on experience in:- EPLAN (Electric P8)- EPLAN Pro Panel- AutoCAD ElectricalStrong knowledge of:- PLC, VFD, RIU-based control panels- MCC, power and control panel design- Control & power wiring, interlocks, and protection circuitsUnderstanding of:- Electrical standards (IEC, IS, etc.)- Earthing, grounding, and safety practices- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsJob Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical hardware and control system panelsPrepare and review:1. Electrical schematics2. Wiring diagrams3. Panel layouts4. BOMs using EPLAN & AutoCAD ElectricalPerform hardware design calculations such as:1. Load calculation2. Cable sizing3. Power distribution planningImplement safety features including:1. Safety PLC concepts2. STO (Safe Torque Off)3. Proper earthing and groundingSelect and integrate field devices such as:1. Sensors, actuators, relays, contactors, breakers- Coordinate with project, commissioning, and site teams- Support troubleshooting during testing, commissioning, and handover- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines
