Roles and Responsibility
  • Product Management
  • Ownership of the entire product suite consisting of Equities, Derivatives, PMS & Investment products, Fixed Income, Third Party Distribution
  • Ensure design and development activities relating to new products and re-engineer existing products.
  • Understand the underlying markets, latest trends and identify most appropriate product to broaden product offerings
  • Manage and develop the digital leg of the product portfolio
  • Assess and craft a digital strategy and execution roadmap for enterprise digitization and consumer facing digital
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Benchmark current digital offerings, including web, mobile, social, digital marketing and data capture/utilization vs best-practices within and outside the asset management industry
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Evaluate emerging technologies; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Strategy
  • Manage strategic intent of the organization in terms of client acquisition, activation and digitalization
  • Management team engagement for preparing strategic presentation/notes for Group and Country Board
  • Establishing the key metrics to accurately define the competencies and skills required for each role/ business unit within the organization along with mapping the individual performance to set-up the KPI framework.
Business
  • Ownership of entity revenue along with respective Business Heads
  • To develop, maintain and grow revenue streams from product lines
  • To drive revenue with establishment of sales/servicing channels for product lines offered by SCSI

  • Understanding of Clients and the teams
  • Deep understanding of clients' behaviour and need
  • Ensure analytics driven approach to acquire, activate and engage clients through physical and digital channels
  • Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated abilities in networking with cross-functional teams

  • Ensure service issues identified are managed appropriately across products.

  • Build team capable of ensuring delivery and managing products through:
  • Coaching, guidance and management to ensure they deliver against the financial, non-financial and risk/control objectives
  • Identifying and addressing the top issues/opportunities for performance improvement across the team
  • Driving an environment of collaboration, both within the team, in-country to ensure issues are raised and resolved
  • Developing succession plans
  • Adherence to the Group's values and culture
Risk Management
  • To ensure compliance with Group Policies and Standards, local laws and regulations as well as all controls and procedures laid down by the entity
Governance
  • Have strong knowledge of local regulations and initiatives of local industry bodies to ensure the business is ahead of the regulatory change
  • Proactively engage business & functional partners / stakeholders to drive the origination product offering and sales discipline

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Post Graduate/MBA
  • 12-15 years’ experience in BFSI industry (product/segment role preferred)
  • Strong grasp on brokerage product management
  • Thorough understanding of Capital Markets & Trading Products and In-depth knowledge of Derivatives and Options Trading
  • Good knowledge of financial products with responsibilities for revenue, product development, process, systems and risk management.
