The incumbent would be responsible for the data visualization solutions to improve business processes.The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to the program and the offshore reporting team. The individual will use his/her knowledge of design, development, support best practices to ensure robust delivery that follow laid down processes.The incumbent will be responsible for requirement gathering across multiple IT Client teams and Stakeholders to build interactive dashboards and stories. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze business problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner.
Creating a wireframe/ paper design / design document to finalize the number of dashboards or graphs, graph type & color code
Interpreting the KPI definitions, and dashboard needs by sympathizing with the business team.
Analyze the data sources, be it a RDBMS or XLSX, CSV file or any other data source.
Perform the required data wrangling before connecting to the data source from the Tableau client.
Develop individual reports and design the final dashboard.
Research ways to help the report users to see the bigger picture at a single glance and insert the ability to drill through the different levels of dimensions.
Testing the reports for formatting and data correctness and publishing the workbooks on the Tableau server for scheduled refreshes.
Defining access control levels for different types of users and communicating the requirements to the Tableau Server team to apply the same to the workbooks.
Good knowledge on Tableau prep flow to perform basic ETL before pulling data in reports.
Good knowledge on SQL to fetch required data via data sources.
Identifying improvement opportunities and executing the same.

We require someone withe:

Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech) or Masters in computer application(MCA)
5 - 8 years of progressive information technology experience in Data visualization and data analysis.

Technical Credentials:

Aware of the Software Development Life Cycle and Quality concepts
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Strong interpersonal skills
Experience in technology renewal projects for asset management products
Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations/problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills to work effectively in a changing environment balancing operations and project delivery
Strong planning and consulting skills
Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of the financial and insurance industries
Hands on experience in support & enhancement of applications on Tableau , ETL(SSIS and Informatica) , SQL language.
Experience with developing, publishing and supporting Tableau dashboards.
Exposure to PowerShell and / or other batch scripting tools and techniques a plus
Experience in working in an Agile environment.

Certifications: Nice to have.

Certification in Tableau, Agile, Prep-flow.
