The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in marketing leadership roles within the automotive sector, with a strong command of brand building, market expansion, digital marketing, and customer engagement strategies. As the General Manager – Marketing, you will be responsible for driving overall marketing direction, aligning business objectives with customer needs, and ensuring a high-impact presence in the competitive automobile market.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Marketing & Brand Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market share, and lead generation across B2B and B2C channels.
- Position the brand effectively across all touchpoints – digital, offline, events, and retail.
- Oversee product positioning, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategies for new vehicle launches.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align marketing campaigns with sales goals.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives by implementing cutting-edge digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media, performance marketing, and email campaigns.
- Leverage analytics and CRM data to drive customer lifecycle campaigns and improve conversion rates.
- Monitor marketing ROI, campaign effectiveness, and audience engagement across digital platforms.
- Develop localized marketing campaigns for dealer networks, ensuring consistency in messaging and promotion.
- Build marketing programs to enhance dealer visibility, footfall, and profitability through co-branded initiatives.
- Ensure regional teams are well-supported with marketing tools, training, and resources.
- Oversee customer insight programs and feedback loops to improve user experience, both pre- and post-purchase.
- Drive loyalty, referral, and retention programs in coordination with the customer service team.
- Monitor and improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other key customer satisfaction metrics.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team across brand, digital, communications, and regional functions.
- Collaborate closely with product, sales, finance, and design teams to ensure cohesive execution.
- Manage external vendors, media agencies, and creative partners to maintain brand standards and timely deliverables.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in the automobile industry, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand management in automotive or allied sectors.
- Strong understanding of the evolving automobile market, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms, data analytics tools, and CRM systems.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- MBA in Marketing or related field preferred.
