- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of metallurgists, engineers, and technicians. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize metallurgical processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Research and Development: Oversee R&D projects related to new materials, processes, and technologies. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all metallurgical processes and products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular audits.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to other departments, including production, quality control, and sales. Address technical issues and provide solutions.
- Project Management: Manage metallurgical projects from conception to completion. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment and implement best practices in safety management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and support for metallurgical activities.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on metallurgical performance, project progress, and R&D activities. Present findings to senior management and suggest improvements.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the metallurgical department's budget. Ensure efficient use of resources and control costs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in metallurgy or materials science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of metallurgical processes, materials, and technologies.
