Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in the networking domain, including physical network devices and overlay virtual networks.

5 years of experience testing, and launching networking software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

3 years of experience in network design and troubleshooting network deployments.Preferred qualifications:

Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).

Experience in managing Software Engineer teams.

Experience in working with distributed systems and network infrastructure.

Experience in managing high growth production workloads or production services at scale.

Ability to collaborate with customers and influence partners.

Excellent communication, people management, problem-solving, and investigative skills.

Build network specific expertise in the team and serve as an expert providing consultation to other engineering and support teams working in cloud networking areas.
Provide technical leadership on key projects helping in onboarding customers.
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms such as automation, evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
