Job Description:1. Plumbing SystemsOversee internal and external plumbing networks (GI, CI, UPVC, HDPE lines).Maintain water supply systems, pumps, hydro-pneumatic systems, and storage tanks.Ensure proper functioning of hot water systems and pressure management.Manage leak detection, repair, and preventive maintenance.Maintain plumbing drawings and asset records.2. STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)Ensure continuous operation and treated water quality as per PCB norms.Monitor parameters like BOD, COD, TSS, pH, MLSS.Ensure treated water reuse systems function properly.Coordinate with vendors for AMC and breakdown maintenance.Maintain compliance documentation and lab test records.3. ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant)Oversee biomedical effluent treatment systems.Ensure discharge quality meets statutory norms.Monitor chemical dosing, sludge handling, and disposal.Maintain logbooks and regulatory compliance records.4. Fire Fighting SystemMaintain fire hydrant system, sprinklers, pumps, jockey pump, and controllers.Conduct weekly and monthly testing of fire pumps and alarm systems.Ensure compliance with NBC and local fire authority norms.Coordinate annual inspection with fire department.Maintain fire system documentation and audit readiness.5. Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with Pollution Control Board and Fire Department norms.Maintain all statutory registers and reports.Lead internal and external audits.Ensure safe work practices and risk assessment implementation.6. Team & Vendor ManagementSupervise technicians and contractors.Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.Monitor spare inventory and cost control.Prepare CAPEX and OPEX budget inputs.7. Emergency HandlingLead breakdown response for water, sewage, or fire system failure.Ensure 24x7 system reliability in critical hospital areas (ICU, OT).
