For more information, visit or follow us on , , and .We are seeking a Distinguished Engineer to define and drive the long-term architectural vision for our cloud-delivered Security Service Edge (SSE) platform, while ensuring strategic alignment with our next-generation physical firewall portfolio.This role will primarily focus on evolving a globally distributed, multi-tenant cloud security platform - guiding its scalability, resilience, extensibility, and innovation trajectory. In parallel, the Distinguished Engineer will ensure that our physical firewall products integrate seamlessly into a unified security ecosystem through shared policy, telemetry, and management frameworks.This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring exceptional depth in cloud-native distributed systems, security architectures, and high-performance networking.Key Responsibilities

Drive a cohesive long-term architecture strategy spanning cloud-native SSE and physical firewall appliances
Oversee and mentor Principal Engineers and Architects across product lines.
Guide high-performance packet processing architectures (L3-L7)
Guide architecture for building and scaling cloud native security services
Evaluate emerging technologies and drive incubation of next-generation capabilities.
Represent the company in strategic customer or partner technical engagements when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

18+ years of engineering experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud platforms
Proven experience shaping large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
Experience with high-performance packet processing and traffic inspection.
Strong systems thinking across hardware, firmware, and cloud software layers.
Experience mentoring senior technical leaders and architects.
Experience building scalable telemetry, logging, and analytics pipelines
Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, service meshes, and hyperscaler environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Recognized technical authority capable of influencing senior engineers and executives.
