Location: Nalanda Degree CollegeJob Summary:The Computer Lecturer (CRT) will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in computer science and related subjects, ensuring that students develop strong technical skills and a deep understanding of key concepts. The role involves curriculum development, student mentorship, and fostering an interactive learning environment aligned with industry standards and academic excellence.Key Responsibilities:Course Delivery:
- Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in computer science subjects for undergraduate students.
- Develop course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional resources, to enhance student learning.
- Contribute to curriculum updates to align with industry trends, technological advancements, and academic guidelines.
- Integrate programming languages, emerging technologies, and software development methodologies into the coursework.
- Encourage active learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving through interactive teaching methods.
- Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students, supporting their career aspirations and professional growth.
- Design and administer assessments such as exams, assignments, and projects to evaluate student progress.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback to students to enhance their understanding and performance.
- Conduct hands-on coding sessions, workshops, and programming contests to improve students’ technical skills.
- Guide students in learning programming languages, algorithms, and software development best practices.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and digital tools to enhance course delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning and research in the field of computer science to contribute to academic excellence.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, participate in faculty development programs, and attend relevant workshops.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration on curriculum planning, academic initiatives, and institutional development.
- A Master’s degree (M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Freshers with strong technical and teaching skills may also apply.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, or other relevant technologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Familiarity with instructional technology, learning management systems, and online teaching tools is an added advantage.
