John our supportive and high performing team as a Business Analyst / Executive in Macquarie Asset Management Real Assets in Mumbai, focusing on the Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund series which has a mandate to invest equity and equity-like instruments directly into infrastructure businesses and assets throughout Asia-Pacific. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityYou will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of transactions involving investments, divestments and refinancing for Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund which include financial modelling, initial term sheet negotiations, managing due diligence, negotiation and closure of final documents and securing internal approvals at various stages by appropriately presenting the acquisition opportunity.As a member of a high-performing team, you will provide crucial support in originating new transactions and ideas, reviewing asset acquisitions including impact analysis and funding strategy, preparing management reports, board materials, marketing, and investor relations materials for internal and external use. You will work side-by-side with seasoned investors and professional advisors in a transaction setting such as legal and financial advisors.What you offerPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibility
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as finance, economics or accounting
  • 1+ year's relevant experience in investment banking, private equity or the infrastructure sector, ideally with hands on experience within Southeast Asia and/or India
  • Highly numerate with proficiency in building complex financial models and valuation concepts with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Self-driven, highly motivated and resilient with an innate passion in core infrastructure combined with a natural interest in investments
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
