The role is responsible for leading all Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions to ensure consistent product quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to environmental and safety standards. It involves managing advanced analytical laboratories, regulatory interactions, and continuous improvement initiatives in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities at the chemical manufacturing plant.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO and statutory standards.
  • Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using advanced analytical instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, EC conditions, and CPCB/SPCB norms.
  • Drive continuous improvement through CAPA, root cause analysis, and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Manage QA/QC teams, provide technical training, and build a strong quality culture.
  • Handle customer complaints, deviations, and vendor quality audits to ensure consistent product standards.
End-to-end ownership of QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.Opportunity to drive plant-wide quality and continuous improvement initiatives.A successful Quality Lead should have:
  • 15+ years in QA/QC roles within chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • M.Tech (Chemical Engineering), M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Tech Chemical Engineering, or Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GC, HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, LC-MS, and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Deep understanding of EC compliance, SPCB/CPCB regulations, hazardous chemicals management, and environmental monitoring.
  • Background in specialty chemicals, bromination, phosphide, or similar chemical processes preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage audits, and interact with regulators and customers.
