Provide automakers with cutting-edge equipment and solutions to develop tomorrow's clean and connected car.Reporting to the IS Practice Manager APAC, the Regional IS Practice Specialist - SAP FI/CO is responsible to:
  • Assist in the end-to-end implementation of SAP FI-CO modules for various projects, ensuring they meet financial accounting and controlling requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (business users, IT, consultants) to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support project leads in managing SAP FI-CO implementation phases (blueprint, realization, testing, deployment, and go-live).
  • Track project milestones and work with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of SAP FI-CO solutions within scope, time, and budget
Main activities include:Business Requirements Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business users and project managers to gather detailed business requirements for SAP FI-CO processes.
  • Translate business requirements into SAP configuration specifications.
  • Document business process flows and ensure that system functionality is aligned with business needs.
Configuration & Customization:
  • Configure SAP FI-CO modules based on project requirements, including setup for general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost centers, internal orders, and asset accounting and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
  • Perform system testing (unit testing, integration testing) to ensure the correct configuration and functionality of SAP FI-CO processes.
  • Participate in workshops and design sessions to identify improvements and customizations in the SAP system.
  • Plan and execute testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for both SAP FI and CO modules.
  • Ensure system configurations and processes are aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Resolve any issues or defects identified during testing to ensure a smooth go-live.
Reporting to the IS Practice Manager Americas, the Regional IS Specialist SAP FI/COProject Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, configuration guides, test scripts, and issue logs.
  • Work within an Agile or Waterfall methodology to support SAP project delivery timelines and milestones
  • Report regular project status and progress to project managers and stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement and any risks or issues that may affect deadlines.
  • Develop training materials and user documentation for operational support
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Work with key business stakeholders, functional leads, and technical consultants to ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP functionality.
  • Support cross-functional teams in addressing any challenges related to other SAP modules and processes.
  • Help drive collaboration between IT, supply chain, and operations teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve SAP FI-CO configurations.
  • Keep up with the latest SAP FI-CO best practices, updates, and industry trends to provide recommendations for system enhancements
Required experience and competencies
  • University degree or Engineering School with specialization in Information
  • Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Systems operations
  • FI-CO SAP Academy certification or related is a differential
  • Familiarity with Brazil or Mexico Legal requirements and Localization SAP modules
  • Proven track record in managing applications support and operations at a global level.
  • Expertise in managing enterprise applications such as ERP, EDI, and manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with D&IS service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices in the context of enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications, systems integration, and business processes
