About the job:This role is part of ADS’s Global Planning Analytics team. Planning Analytics delivers world-class analytics and digital solutions to Ecolab’s global planning. This team provides data-driven insights for demand planning, forecasting, supply planning including inventory management and optimization, S&OP, capacity planning and resource allocation by tracking performance metrics. Are you a driven individual with a passion for data and analytics? We're looking to hire an Analyst (Global Planning) to join our Global Supply Chain Analytics team in Pune, India. In this role, you’ll be responsible for discovering insights and overseeing Planning KPIs in Supply / Demand Planning space thereby influencing planner’s decision-making and business outcomes. You'll also work closely with the analytics engineering and design teams in cocreating planning analytics products and solutions by participating in design reviews and the release process.What You'll Do
  • Insight Generation & Strategy: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and strategic insights by analyzing supply chain data, focusing on inventory, demand, and supply planning functions.
  • KPI Management & Reporting: Own the end-to-end process for key performance indicator (KPI) tracking and reporting. Collaborate with the planning team to interpret data, drive performance, and ensure our metrics are aligned with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with regional and global stakeholders to standardize planning processes, enhance KPI reporting, and foster a data-centric culture across the organization.
  • Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable analytics dashboards and reports. Utilize tools like Power BI to create interactive, informative, and accurate visualizations that empower data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Ensure the integrity and quality of all planning data. Work closely with the data engineering team to secure steady access to reliable data sources and implement robust data validation processes.
  • Problem Identification & Resolution: Analyze supply chain performance to identify underperforming areas. Recommend and implement data-backed solutions to address challenges and optimize operations.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Meticulously document all project deliverables and processes to ensure a seamless transition and successful project delivery. Contribute to
  • knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, information systems, engineering or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 3-6 years of experience as a supply chain analyst or planner or Supply chain consultant
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exposure to technical skills in visualization using MS Power BI and familiarity to Python and SQL
  • Good to have exposure in cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) and data management in SQL querying and SAP tables / transactions for process excellence and quality functions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
