Job Description:Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in Java, ATG or Fluent Commerce, and Spring Boot to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for our e-commerce clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, ATG/Fluent Commerce, and Spring Boot.Build scalable, event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka, MQ, and AWS Lambda.Manage and optimize databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DynamoDB.Integrate systems using tools such as App Connect, IIB, and Fluent/ATG.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.Mandatory SkillsJava (Java 8+) – Advanced proficiency with at least 8 years of experienceATG or Fluent Commerce – Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with either platformSpring Boot & Microservices Architecture – Proven experience designing and developing microservicesMessaging Systems – Proficient in Kafka and MQ integrationDatabase Management – Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDBCloud & Serverless – Strong knowledge of AWS LambdaCI/CD – Hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CDCommunication Skills – Excellent written and verbal EnglishGood to Have SkillsExperience with Oracle databasesFamiliarity with IBM App Connect and IBM Integration Bus (IIB)Understanding of e-commerce domain best practicesExposure to DevOps practices and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologiesSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesTeam-oriented with a collaborative mindsetAbility to adapt to new technologies and tools quicklySkills:Java,Atg,Microservices,Spring BootAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
