- Participates in system requirements definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of enterprise wide business applications.
- Solicits business requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation or procedures. Uses industry standard analysis techniques to uncover business requirements, such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, and workflow analysis.
- Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates and tools and be a key contributor in the definition of what the appropriate templates and tools are.
- Makes recommendations and influence outcome regarding necessary changes on deliverables expected from other groups.
- Initiates and leads work with other development groups to ensure an integrated business solution.
- Assumes the responsibility of project manager for projects where the scope is at a significant level of complexity. These projects could be new initiatives or modifications to an existing application.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of FMs business and business processes.
- Coordinates the efforts of other Business Analysts within assigned projects.
- 5 to 7 years of experience required to perform essential job functions.
- 6+ years of general business analysis experience, with 2+ years experience in project management.
- Expert knowledge of techniques and tools utilized in functional design, data analysis, and data flow diagramming.
- Knowledge of FM's current / planned technological environment and the appropriate technologies, tools, and techniques used to solve business problems.
- Experience gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.
- Proven ability to work in technical environments that use tools involved in data flow diagramming, data analysis, issue tracking, and documentation and presentation.
- Proven experience with managing projects of significant scope and complexity with project teams consisting of 5+ individuals.
- Proven ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral / written communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to provide direction to others and influence decisions made.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of team members.
- Business Analysis: Proficient in modeling business processes, analyzing data, and documenting requirements.
- Agile Methodology: Skilled in managing requirements through agile practices, including documentation and lifecycle tracking.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Demonstrated experimental mindset and willingness to learn and innovate.
- Tool & System Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in Content Systems and Business Process Management.
- Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred.
