Develop and execute EM/IR analysis flows: This includes creating and utilizing scripts for various analyses at the block and top levels of an ASIC. Define and implement power grids: This involves using industry-standard Place and Route (PnR) tools and ensuring the validation of the power grid through checks like grid resistance and secondary PG resistance checks. Collaborate with other teams:Working with package, power integrity, and other teams to ensure the overall PDN performance is optimized. Drive innovation and improvements:This includes finding solutions to complex problems, driving flow development, and automating tasks using scripting languages like TCL. Perl or Python Strong understanding of EM and IR analysis: In-depth knowledge of tools like RedhawkSC and experience in developing and implementing power grids. Proficiency in scripting languages: TCL, Perl, or Python are often required for automation and flow development. Experience with PnR tools: Familiarity with tools like INNOVUS, Fusion Compiler or Knowledge of PDN and power integrity: Understanding of system-level power delivery and signal integrity. Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and drive them to completion. Experience with advanced technology nodes: Experience with 5nm or lower technology nodes is often preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with design verification and sign-off: Understanding of static timing analysis, physical verification, and other sign-off checks.
