Director - Finance

• Lead preparation of investor materials, financial models, and data rooms for equity, debt, and strategic fundraising.
• Work closely with founders on negotiations, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• Maintain strong relationships with investors, providing timely and transparent updates on financial and operational performance.

• Serve as a financial advisor to leadership on pricing strategy, contract structuring, go-to-market planning, and long-term growth decisions.
• Support commercial teams on pricing models, payment terms, etc.
• Evaluate new customer/ vendor partnerships, international expansion initiatives, and large procurement planning through financial analysis.

• Oversee day to day accounting, receivables, payables, fixed assets and other accounting processes.
• Ensure timely closure of books on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for MIS reports - monthly, quarterly, annual.
• Ensure statutory compliances such as Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ROC and RBI related filings.
• Oversee payroll processes.
• Responsible for statutory audits, internal audits, etc.
• Responsible for liasioning with banks, financial institutions to manage working capital funding limits.
• Oversee banking and treasury related activities such as payouts, EDPMS, IDMPS, etc.

• Implement financial planning tools, cost-tracking mechanisms, and project-based budgeting frameworks.
• Collaborate with operations teams on ERP integration, inventory management metrics, and production costing.
• Drive financial discipline across the organisation through clear processes, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.

• Previous working experience in manufacturing, product, consumer or similar industries.
• Proven experience in fundraising, investor communication, and advanced financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of costing, manufacturing economics, pricing and margin analysis.
• Exceptional analytical capability with expertise in scenario planning and financial decision support.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving consumer and product company
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership and drive.
