- Design and develop precision tooling for cable assembly and connector manufacturing processes
- Create tooling specifications, drawings, and documentation using CAD software
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize tool performance and lifecycle
- Conduct tool trials, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation opportunities
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Conduct feasibility studies for new tooling and automation projects
- Establish process parameters and quality control measures
- Lead cross-functional teams for tooling and automation projects
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for tooling procurement and development
- Present project updates and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate for preparing strategic plan and help achieve critical milestones.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of robotics programming and integration
- Understanding of vision systems and sensor technologies
- Familiarity with statistical process control and quality methodologies
- PCB & Fine wire termination methodologies

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in tooling engineering and automation
- Proven experience in cable and connector manufacturing preferred
