Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber - Technical Services - Head QA/QCEducation: PhD/Masters/Btech/B.E in Chemical/TextilesExperience: 10+ yearsJob Description:1) Monthly, weekly, daily resource planning and ordering based on plant requirement.2) Timely reporting of daily / weekly / monthly product characteristics to the concerned departments.3) Manpower resource planning & lab effectiveness & efficiencies.4) Annual budget plan.5) Handling of customer complaint.6) Owner of Quality Management System (accreditation, audits, certifications, etc..).7) Owner of customer complaint management process.8) Drive improvement work package to enhance Safety, efficiency, reliability and consistency of inspection & testing activities.9) Assist departments in data interpretation to formulate actions for product improvement.10) Commit self and team members involvement in QC, KSS and other team activities.11) Stimulate & support laboratory & quality system simplification.12) Asses the previous year performance of the department & plan improvement points while preparing the yearly P&B formulation (Including AMC, reagents & chemicals etc.),13) Adoption of cost control measures such as development of internal calibration techniques, to reduce - Appraisal Cost, Cost of poor quality (Internal), Compensation (External)"Preferred Experience:1) Professional having Doctorate / Masters Degree in Chemistry / Fiber Science, from a reputed university having a proven track record in the respective field.2) 10+ years of experience in managing QA/QC/Quality - Laboratory in a similar site with hands on experience in handling laboratory teams3) Experience of leading a department or Laboratory team with continuous processes and 24/7 shift rotation4) Exposures in IMS / ISO system5) Additional exposures in analytical methods related to composites / aerospace / high temperature processes.6) Knowledge of automotive and aerospace quality certification
