In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation, management, and optimization of Proofpoint and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint solutions. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding client s organization against email-borne threats and enhancing overall security posture. Responsibilities 1. Integration and Configuration: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Proofpoint and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint seamlessly. o Configure and fine-tune security policies, rules, and alerts within both platforms. o Ensure alignment with organizational security standards and best practices. 2. Threat Detection and Response: o Monitor and analyze security events, incidents, and alerts generated by both solutions. o Investigate and respond to potential threats promptly. o Conduct root cause analysis and recommend remediation actions. 3. Incident Management: o Coordinate incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery. o Collaborate with incident response teams to mitigate security incidents effectively. 4. Security Operations: o Maintain and enhance security controls, including email filtering, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence. o Monitor security logs and perform regular audits. o Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities. 5. Reporting and Documentation: o Generate regular reports on security incidents, trends, and performance metrics. o Document security processes, procedures, and configurations. 6. Collaboration and Training: o Work closely with IT teams, network administrators, and other stakeholders. o Provide training and awareness sessions to end-users regarding security best practices. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Certifications (preferred but not mandatory): o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) o Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) o Proofpoint Certified Administrator (PCA) o Microsoft Certified: Defender for Endpoint Associate Experience: o Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Proofpoint and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. o Familiarity with email security, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence. o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively. To analyse and validate cybersecurity incidents in-detail and help the L3 team with RCAordata or logs collection (4.) To enable knowledge transferortrainings through creationor maintenance of configuration documents, test plans, operational manuals and provide operational training to L1 team. (5.) To analyse and fine-tune cybersecurity policies, participate in cybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests and recommendations on cybersecurity policy changes. (6.) To implement changes, monitor security device performance and implements performance tuning when necessary. (7.)
