This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the architecture and design of complex embedded systems, working on challenging projects that impact various industries.Roles & Responsibilities :
Architecture and Design:Define and document software architectures for embedded systems, considering performance, safety, security, and maintainability.Create high-level and detailed software designs.Select appropriate technologies and frameworks.Ensure alignment with overall system architecture and project requirements.Development and Implementation:Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code.Implement and integrate software modules.Follow coding standards and best practices.Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.Technical Leadership:Guide and mentor junior software engineers.Provide technical expertise and support to the team.Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate effectively with other engineering teams (hardware, testing, etc.).Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.Participate in project planning and status meetings.QualificationsEducational qualification:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.Experience :10+ years of experience in embedded software development for Automotive, Consumer Electronics or MedTech.Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong understanding of embedded systems architectures and design principles.Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C).Experience with software design patterns and architectural principles.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills :Experience with automotive software development processes (e.g., ASPICE).Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508).Experience with model-based design and development.Knowledge of specific microcontroller architectures.
