Position Summary with Job ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of the Program Issue Management Engineer role in software integration for the automotive sector is to proactively identify, track, and resolve issues that arise during the development and integration of software programs.This role focuses on maintaining a systematic approach to issue identification, prioritization, and resolution, ensuring the overall success of software integration projects by addressing challenges promptly and efficiently.EducationBachelor of Engineering in ElectricalWork ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management or a similar role within the automotive industry or related domains.Proven track record of successfully coordinating and managing central issues across multiple domains and vehicle programs.Work with the ECU owners on the FROP (Feature roll out plan) of every ECU and ensure the implementationStrong organizational and coordination skills to manage central issue resolution activities efficiently.Proficiency in issue lifecycle management, including identification, tracking, resolution, and reporting.Knowledge of quality control and assurance procedures related to issue management.Ability to establish and utilize issue resolution metrics to quantify progress and identify areas for improvement.Good understanding of DFMEA, FMEA and FTA.Strong decision-making skills to ensure efficient allocation of resources and resolution of critical issues.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and issue leads from various domains.Familiarity with tools like JIRA issue management and tracking and others is highly desirable.Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or other dash boarding tools for creating and presenting issue resolution metrics.Tata Motors Leadership CompetenciesDeveloping Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excelLeading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to changeDriving Execution - Translating strategy into action and executionLeading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standardsMotivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individualsCustomer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (stakeholders) needs or expectationsFunctional CompetenciesTags
