Job DescriptionSenior ETL Tester / Senior Data QA EngineerCurrent Location: IndiaAvailability: Immediate / Short NoticeWork Setup: Open to Hybrid (Kochi-based roles)Profile Overview

5+ years' experience in

QA and Data Testing, with strong focus on
ETL and database validation

Proven background working within

healthcare / medical claims data environments

Strong capability across

end-to-end data lifecycle testing, including ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers

Experienced in working within

cross-functional Agile teams, collaborating with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders
Core Technical Skills

ETL & Data Testing:

Validation of ETL pipelines (accuracy, completeness, consistency)
Source-to-target mapping and reconciliation
Data warehouse / data mart validation

SQL (Advanced):

Complex joins, aggregations, calculations
Data comparison and historical data validation

Automation:

Strong experience in

data-focused automation (not UI)

Hands-on with

Playwright (mandatory)

Experience with automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium or equivalent)
Exposure to

Python scripting for validation and regression checks

Data Platforms:

Experience working with

large-scale datasets

Exposure to

cloud-based environments (including Azure)

Testing & QA:

Test case design, execution, and defect management
Root cause analysis and production issue support
Use of test management and defect tracking tools

Domain Experience

Strong experience within the

healthcare insurance domain

Hands-on exposure to

medical claims data (mandatory requirement met)

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Detail-oriented with a

data-first mindset

Comfortable working independently in complex environments
Effective communicator across both technical and business teams

Additional Notes

Experience supporting

data pipelines for reporting and analytics

Familiar with

Agile / Scrum environments
