Job Description:The Linux Administrator – Standard III is responsible for the advanced administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise Linux environments. This role ensures system stability, performance, security, and availability of mission‑critical infrastructure. It includes complex troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration with application, middleware, and security teams.Skills:Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu)Perform advanced troubleshooting for OS, performance, storage, and network-related issuesManage system monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuningHandle patching, upgrades, kernel updates, and system hardeningImplement and manage user access, permissions, sudo policies, and authenticationConfigure and maintain file systems, LVM, NFS, and storage mountsSupport high availability and disaster recovery configurationsWork closely with application, database, middleware, and cloud teamsAutomate routine administrative tasks using shell scripts or configuration toolsEnsure compliance with security policies and audit requirementsCreate and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and system documentationProvide L2/L3 operational support and mentor junior administratorsAbout Company:Bahwan CyberTek (BCT) is a global provider of digital transformation solutions.
