Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Manufacturing Network Strategy (Short-term Production Planning & Long-Range Strategy Planning)

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans for sterile injectable formulations (lyophilized, liquid vials, ampoules, pre-filled syringes as applicable).

• Align production schedule with capacity utilization, machine availability, and manpower planning.

• Create batch scheduling in coordination with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.

• Ensure smooth execution of batches as per GMP and regulatory guidelines.

• Follow up daily with production to monitor batch progress, WIP status, and output.

• Update actual vs. planned production and investigate deviations in schedule.

• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

• Ensure planning complies with GMP, USFDA, MHRA, WHO-GMP, and other regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate documentation required for audits, validations, and batch records.

• Support data preparation for regulatory submissions and customer audits.

• Coordinate with QA for batch release timelines.

• Liaise with QC for sample testing and result follow-up.

• Work with Engineering for preventive maintenance scheduling to avoid downtime.

• Support Supply Chain for delivery commitments and dispatch planning.

• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements in capacity utilization and productivity.

• Support initiatives like Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and yield improvement.

• Contribute to reduction of production losses, rejections, and delays.

• B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc

• MBA / PGDBM (Operations / Supply Chain) is an added advantage.

• 3-5 years of experience in Production Planning or PPC in a pharmaceutical sterile injectables manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of aseptic processing, cleanroom classifications, sterilization cycles, and batch planning.
