Lab Technician (Kit Building)

• Contributing to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensures safe operations and compliance to company's integrity & quality standards

• Ensuring safety of self, teams and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
• Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self
• Compliance to Syngene' s quality standards at all times
• Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
• Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time

• Read, understand and comply with the relevant procedures and processes described as per the quality management system
• Read, understand and comply with protocol and project management plan requirements for all activities performed

• Preparing Kits as per project specific requirements.
• Maintain inventory for kit building department. Procurement of the kit building materials in response to project requirement projections.
• Ensure timely dispatch of kits to sites
• Monitor environmental and storage conditions for materials used for kit building to maintain quality of materials used.
• Coordinating with Sites for supplies of kits.
• Manage logistics issues including communication with couriers to ensure timely delivery of kits to sites
• Maintain relevant kit building documents. Support project management team for audits
• Maintain project specific kit dispatch details
• Printing the Barcodes, request forms for building the kits
• Maintain quality and accuracy for kit building activities
• Maintain quality of kit building materials
• Identify, document and initiate corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances and deviations

• Champion effective Environment, Occupational Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) practices for the company and oversee compliance with those practices within Biologics business. Play an active leadership role in monitoring and verifying safety performance through Gemba walks and other safety-led activities.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Medical technologist role.

• Problem solving skills.
• Time management.
• Excellent communication skills - written and oral in English
• Ability to work independently as well as with team members

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
